Over the weekend I had a chance to pick a lady up on the side of the road and give her a ride home. She was carrying groceries and had a ways to walk. You could tell she had had a rough life and was tattooed and pierced to the hilt. She shared with me she had been at the hospital with her mom who is dying on terminal brain cancer and decided she needed a few groceries on the way home. She just kept saying ”people do not do this”(referring to me picking her up and giving her a ride) I assured her God does and shared a little with her. I dropped her off at her trailer and let her know I would be praying for her and her family. I than had a thought while driving away that it would be cool for her to receive cards in the mail to encourage her during this time.
